Job Description
- Safely Operate a Passenger Bus: Transport passengers to designated destinations safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and ensuring the security of everyone on board.
- Compliance with Traffic Regulations: Follow all relevant road safety laws, maintaining a steady pace and alertness on the road.
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct a thorough inspection of the bus before and after each trip to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist Passengers: Help passengers board and exit safely, providing any necessary assistance.
- Collect Fares and Issue Tickets: Handle payments and distribute tickets or passes as needed.
- Maintain Bus Cleanliness: Keep the bus interior clean and orderly to create a pleasant environment for passengers.
- Effective Communication: Stay in touch with dispatch and other drivers for coordinated route and schedule management.
- Report Incidents: Promptly report accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to the relevant authorities.
Qualifications for Bus Drivers in Hungary
- Licensed for a 50-Passenger Capacity Bus: A valid bus driver’s license for large-capacity vehicles.
- Extensive Driving Skills and Law Knowledge: Strong driving skills and an in-depth understanding of traffic laws.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and people skills for effective passenger interaction.
- Flexible Schedule: Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Fitness: Good health and capability to lift heavy items if required.
- Stress Management and Problem-Solving: Ability to stay calm and focused in high-stress scenarios, with good problem-solving abilities.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese is advantageous.
- Experience Requirement: More than 5 years of experience as a driver.
